Proposed Residential Zoning Updates

The City is considering updates to its residential zoning code to better reflect existing neighborhoods and the goals of the Clayton Tomorrow 2040 Comprehensive Plan. The proposed updates primarily clarify and reorganize existing regulations, with a limited number of targeted changes based on existing neighborhood conditions and resident feedback. The Planning Commission is expected to review the changes on September 14, with City Council review anticipated in October or November. Residents are encouraged to watch upcoming Planning Commission and City Council agendas for more information and opportunities to provide feedback.
